Initial Research
For this brand project, I wanted to create a collection for Lazaro. I have always loved his gowns and how he has been able to cater to a wide range of women. I love the clean modern look mixed with a soft romantic look that he has been able to create throughout many of his collections. I want to channel these characteristics and create a bridal collection for a romantic and elegant bride.
I came across some really interesting images of icicles on a branch, and it gave me some ideas for beading that I could do for this collection. I have one sample in progress and will be going to Oberlin’s Bead paradise within the next week to get some more beads so that i can continue with sampling! I also want to look into more ways that I can manipulate fabrics for a bridal collection. Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas!
